- Q. When is the Pre-Juneteenth Event?
A. We will have a pre-Juneteenth event on June 9 at the
Regular NAACP meeting. the meeting will be held at the Edison
Job Corps on Plainfield Avenue, Edison at 7 pm. This is the first of a
series of Leadership workshops. This forum will focus on the
leadership of the NAACP. For more information read the

- Q. When is the Juneteenth Festival ?
A. June 17-19 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
Most of the activities will take place on
Saturday,
June 18, 2005.
- Where is the Juneteenth Festival being held?
A. Locations will vary depending on the day.
What is the daily schedule of the festival?
- Friday, June 17, 2005 events will take place at the
Piscataway High Gymnasium (both buildings).
- Saturday, June 18, 2005 events
will be held at the Piscataway High 11/12 building. We may
also use the 9/10 building for the competitions, depending on the
number of teams that sign up.
- Sunday, June
19, 2005 events will be
held at North Stelton A.M.E. Church in Piscataway. Awards will be
given to the winners of the basketball and step show competitions.
Q. What about meals and refreshments during the event?
A. There will be food vendors at the event. Food is
not free.
Q. Does it cost anything to attend?
A. The event is free and is open to the general public. However, we recommend that you
bring money for food and vendor purchases.
